We had a neat Sportster Rigid come into the shop that was badly in need of some repairs along with some proper wheels, brakes, bars, lighting, wiring, and so on.
This bike was frightening to ride when she came in. Goofy looking mag wheels, narrow ape hangers, struts under the fuel tank to lift the nose of the tank, short springs under the seat that made you feel like you were falling backwards off the bike, next to zero brakes, wiring hanging all over the place, switches in 4 different locations, just awful. Not to mention loose or missing hardware all over then place.
This was the end result.
New RideWright Wheels, Metzeler Tires, performance type brake rotors (13” out front/11.5” on the rear), front 6 piston PM brake caliper, Lyndall Gold Plus rear pads, ODi Bars, PM hand controls, PM grips, new mirrors, new headlight shell with adaptive LED headlight, new stainless steel Model A type LED taillight, new Custom Dynamics rear turn signals, repaired and improved the license plate mount, PM air cleaner, wrapped the exhaust pipes, lowered the nose of the fuel tank, new switch panel under the fuel tank, corrected the seating position and so on.
It is truly a fun machine to ride now. Handles well, stops crazy well, and is just a blast to ride.
She has some very “serious attitude” now!
Be sure to check it out when you see it around Lake County, FL.

Here is a little teaser sample of the incredible paint work being applied to our “Race King” project bike by the amazing Ron Fleenor from Color Faktory using paint products from Rogue Custom Finishes.
This bike is going to be bad axx, as the rest of the bike is just as detailed and refined as the paint work is.
