The 93rd Texas Rose Festival runs October 15 through 18, and the Rose Parade is this Saturday, October 17. The parade assembles at Front Street and Glenwood Boulevard and heads west through the fairgrounds to Rose Stadium, so expect crowds and closed streets along Front Street.

Our shop is closed on weekends, so we will not be open during the parade, but we hope you enjoy the festival. If your car pulls to one side when you press the brakes, one wheel is doing more of the work than the other. That is not normal, and it can make stopping less predictable.

The cause is often a brake caliper that is sticking or not squeezing evenly, a problem with a brake hose or line, or uneven pad wear. Do you feel a pulse in the brake pedal or a shake in the steering wheel when you slow down, especially from highway speed? That is usually a sign that the brake rotors are no longer perfectly smooth and even.

Rotors are the metal discs your brake pads squeeze to stop the car. Heat and wear can leave them uneven over time.
