Mazda Monday history nuggets about SKYACTIV Technology takes us back to 2013. The automotive market is constantly evolving, and Mazda remains dedicated to its mission of crafting cars that inspire joy among drivers around the world while making sure to work towards its green initiative. The "sky is the limit" mindset surrounds the SKYACTIV technology and always trying to raise the bar with automotive technology. Mazda will continue to perfect the combustion engine, including all the next generations of compression ignition that makes a super-lean burn that improves engine efficiency.

The company has expanded its lineup with models that capture the essence of its brand. Each new vehicle since then continues to serve as proof of Mazda's unyielding pursuit of perfection and Zoom Zoom philosophy.

All Mazda models are designed with "Takumi" craftsmanship, sculpted by hand so that each vehicle will invoke emotions. Take the grill for example. This dynamic front grill is inspired by Japanese body armor. Mazda has 3-dimensional grills that catch and reflect light differently from all angles, and the signature wing runs underneath the grill for contrast. Mazda always designs its vehicles with traditional Japanese aesthetics and methods in mind.

Here are some ways to surprise your spouse with a new car for Christmas!

1. Ask for an extended test drive, that way you can set it up in the driveway for the “surprise”, but then come in to the dealership to pick out the exact one they prefer!

2. Buy the Vehicle you know they love, ask dealership to hold it on the showroom floor, coordinate with sales team. Take your spouse “car shopping”, but instead surprise them.

3. Buy the vehicle ahead of time, coordinate to have a trusted person drive the car over secretly, and park in your driveway with a big bow. Hide keys in a gift box under the tree!

4. Pretend you are taking your car to get maintenance and that you are coming home in a “loaner” vehicle. Dress up in a Santa outfit and bring the surprise vehicle home with you!

No matter how you do it, Make sure another family member or trusted person is there to help record with video! You will want to remember their priceless reactions! Ask our product specialists because they would be more than happy to help with surprising your loved one this Christmas season with a new Mazda!
