The Rose City Airfest has announce that FOUR F/A-18 Hornets from Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 112 (VMFA-112), the “Cowboys,” are joining Rose City AirFest 2026. Based at NAS JRB Fort Worth, the Cowboys bring an incredible legacy of Marine Corps aviation to Tyler. The squadron was originally established in 1942 and has a combat history stretching back to World War II, including Guadalcanal, the Solomon Islands, the Marshall Islands, Iwo Jima and Okinawa.

Today, that legacy continues with the F/A-18 Hornet. And Rose City Airfest guests will have the opportunity to see four of them right here in East Texas. They join an already packed 2026 lineup featuring the U.S. Air Force F-16 Viper Demo Team, C-17 Globemaster III Demo Team, Red Bull 300, and much more. Get your tickets and get ready to FEEL THE THUNDER.
