Every time I’ve loaded up a vehicle with toolboxes like this, it was to go work for someone else.

To help build someone else’s business.
Someone else’s legacy.
Someone else’s financial stability and generational wealth.

This time, it’s different.

This time, I’m loading these tools up to build mine.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with being an employee. But I’ve realized my calling is different. I’m called to lead, build, create jobs, and provide opportunities instead of always looking for the next opportunity.

And in an economy where the “American Dream” can sometimes feel more like an American nightmare, I’m still betting on hard work, discipline, faith, and the belief that you can build something of your own.

Last Monday, the transmission went out in the service truck. 😤

For a mobile mechanic, that’s not just a breakdown—that’s your shop, your transportation, and your ability to make money sitting still.

But one thing about me… I’m going to figure it out. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One week later, the truck is BACK ROLLING, the tools are loaded, and I’m back serving customers across East Texas. 💪🏾🔧

Running a business will test you. Equipment breaks. Plans get interrupted. Money gets tight. But you adapt, fix the problem, and KEEP MOVING.

And the timing couldn’t be better…

Because while that white service truck is back on the road, 5 Star Mobile L**e is also preparing for some BIG changes. 👀

We’re growing. We’re leveling up. And we’re just getting started.

⭐️ BIG CHANGES ARE COMING TO 5 STAR MOBILE L**E ⭐️

What started with a service truck, some tools, and a vision has continued to grow into something bigger than I originally imagined.

Since 2023, I’ve spent countless hours on the road, in driveways, parking lots, and sometimes working in the Texas heat and cold to provide my customers with honest, professional automotive service.

And we’re not done.

Actually… we’re just getting started. 👀

Over the next few weeks, you’re going to start seeing some changes at 5 Star Mobile L**e.

More capabilities.
More equipment.
More ways to serve our customers.
And a BIG step forward for the business.

But one thing isn’t changing…

That white service truck isn’t going anywhere. 🛻⭐️

Mobile service will continue to be an important part of what we do. We’re simply making room for something more.

I’ve always said I don’t want 5 Star Mobile L**e to be just another guy with some tools working out of a truck.

The mobile mechanic industry is changing—and not necessarily for the better.

Since I started this journey in 2023, the amount of oversaturation I’ve watched happen in this industry has been absolutely insane. Every week, there seems to be someone new calling themselves a mechanic, offering extremely cheap services, free diagnostic work, and undercutting industry-standard pricing just to make a quick dollar.

What many don’t realize is that eventually, that catches up with the entire industry.

At the same time, the cost of living continues to rise. People are trying to save every dollar they can, and I completely understand that. But there’s a difference between affordable service and cheap service.

The people who have invested years into their knowledge, tools, equipment, training, insurance, diagnostic capabilities, and ultimately providing a professional service to their community have to compete in a market where sometimes the only thing a customer sees is the price.

And this isn’t just a mobile mechanic problem.

On the other side of the industry, repair shops are struggling to find and KEEP good technicians. Automotive repair is skilled labor. Technicians invest thousands of dollars into tools and years into learning a trade that becomes more complicated every year, yet many are still overworked and compensated just enough to keep the bills paid.

I’ve watched all of this develop over the last three years, and I’ve realized something:

I can no longer allow 5 Star Mobile L**e to be lumped into the same category as every fly-by-night mobile mechanic with a jack and a toolbox.

It’s time to elevate.

That doesn’t mean forgetting where we started. It doesn’t mean abandoning the customers who helped build this business. And it definitely doesn’t mean that familiar white service truck is disappearing.

That truck still has plenty of miles left to travel.

But 5 Star is entering a new chapter.

I’ve been quietly working on some things behind the scenes, and soon you’ll understand exactly what I mean.

Same commitment. Same quality. Same white truck.

Just a bigger vision.

I spotted one of Tyler’s Dax robots out doing its job today! 🤖
