Thought it would be fun to take a simple timelapse of me removing a damaged roof membrane and gluing down the new one. We are removing the factory TPO membrane that had billowed up in the front and tore, with PVC. I may turn this into a longer more detailed timelapse from start to finish.

With current weather conditions here in Two Rivers we are goin to close the shop until tomorrow, we are currently having freezing rain that has turn the lot into an ice rink, and with the forecasted snow for tonight we will save some salt and clean it up tomorrow.

Todays fun in RV land, Keystone RV Hideout, upon opening it up to check some of the customers concerns. We noticed they had a fold out step from the factory, no big deal. However the main door hits the awning arm when you open it all the way, so when you go to fold out the step the screen door is in the way. nice job there.

As for one of the customers complaints, the furnace would blow hot air out the exhaust, but never seemed to blow hot air through the floor vents. Well the "knock out" was never removed from the furnace to allow it to blow air into the floor and to the vents in the first place. The Dealer sold it as inspected, good job there as well!

Needed a part for a 6 year old fridge, a gas valve.

So we ordered the part and it came back that it was obsolete and was replaced with a different number.

This happens all the time, no big deal, ill order the new part number then right?

Wrong Norcold will only send it to me if it is under warranty, and being 6 years old is not.

Norcold will not sell me a part they have and send it out just because its not warranty. i was told i would need to order an new fridge for a gas valve! Roughly a $1500 cost increase for the customer!

This is why prices are out of control, and your RV takes so long to get fixed! and on one in the industry is saying anything about it! Tip of the iceberg!

Over the winter we took some time to learn a new skill, and add to what we can offer. We added a couple 3D printers. here are some pictures of a fl**ge that holds a gate valve on. it was broken, and no longer holding valve tight enough to seal. in the past we would have to replace the whole assembly.

now we designed a 2 piece fl**ge that can be put on anytime and saves about $40 in parts to fix

What happens when the OEM runs the main harness between a heat shield and heat duct. (Obviously there was no clearance for it) -Matt
