After several years, The Hiram Police Department Team thought that it was time for a new look.

We would like to thank VMS - Visual Marking Systems, Inc. for helping us accomplish that goal and doing a great job and Hall Public Safety Upfitters for doing a great job on Car 24.

Over the next couple months we will be retro fitting the rest of the fleet.

Have you heard about our helicopter egg drop and charity golf ball drop on March 20th? This month, we're partnering with Blue Line Unlimited for the Helicopter Egg Drop Easter Egg Hunt + Charity Golf Ball Drop - Portage County Sheriff's Office to raise money for the burn units at Akron Children's Hospitals and Shriner's Hospitals for Children. Purchase a golf ball or register a child for the egg hunt at BlueLineUnlimited.com. Here's how it works:
In addition to the Easter egg drop, we will be holding a charity golf ball drop. A pin will be placed on the fairgrounds field, and numbered golf balls will be dropped from the helicopter. The golf ball that lands closest to the pin will receive a $1,000 grand prize!
Simply put, the ball that you purchase is essentially a raffle ticket for a $1,000 cash prize. If your ball lands closest to the pin, you win!
