I grew up racing with Brett Saurbaugh and his Dad Craig who was one of my Dad's best friends, at our home tracks in Michigan and NHRA North Central Division 3 and we love that they helped us with the development of using this car which is now a winning 9 second stick shift stock eliminator race car and Great Lakes Stock/Super Stock Association champion. More good things to come in the drag race and road race/autocross markets with HammerHead IRS. Thanks to Evan Smith Jim Campisano and the NMCA for this piece on Brett's Corvette which is the HammerHead IRS drag race test car, and also in general for their continued support of Class Racing. I got a print copy at MPMC last week from Jim not realizing it was a cover story and big centerfold type article! Dad's birthday is tomorrow and he would have been so proud and happy about this. this.

I was sad to hear today that Reeves Callaway has passed. I actually saw a Callaway Twin Turbo Corvette at Goodguys Rod & Custom Association Columbus last weekend and just had to stop and check it out. I remember seeing THE Sledgehammer in person at the National Corvette Museum and it being in the Vette! video game on our first computer. And it was a core memory meeting both Reeves and the late John Lingenfelter who went 300+ MPH at Bonneville in a firebird and 254 MPH in this Sledgehammer Corvette street car in the same year (1989). A record which stood for 30+ years until the Bugatti Veyron came along in 2010. These guys were mad scientists making the fastest car(s) in the world and using the Small Block Chevy to power it. Legendary. RIP Reeves Callaway. You made your mark.

HammerHead IRS equipped Solar Flare built by Muscle Cars By Bob had a good week at in Battle of the Builders and Hot Rod Magazine 75th anniversary issue. Congrats Bob!

What a week at SEMA so far. To be named in the top 15 for the HRIA design and innovation and for Hot Rod magazine to put 14 pages on Solar Flare in there 75th anniversary edition. I am just blown away. God has been so good to me. I feel so blessed to be here. Thanks HRIA and SEMA for inviting me to your awesome event.

Went to Goodguys Rod & Custom Association Summit Racing Equipment Nationals this weekend and had the pleasure of meeting Bob Bertleson AKA Muscle Cars By Bob who has built these two wild award winning Detroit Speed and (built by GearFX Driveline) equipped creations named Solar Flare and Green Mamba. Most recently Solar Flare won the Goodguys Des Moines autocross shootout, and in Columbus placed Top 5 in Street Machine of the year. Green Mamba has competed in both Goodguys & OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational and is featured on the cover of the current catalog. This is something difficult that I've been working on for a while and I'm finally to a point where I have a handle on what is what, so I'm ready to put out there and show people. This video is a tour of Dad's old speed shop ET Enterprises and my plans moving forward with selling things for Mom and building or selling his cars (I am keeping some things). Some of the stuff you see may already be sold, but just email or message me if you are interested in anything or if there's something you want me to look for in particular. Dad was in the process of starting to get rid of things, but he slowed down with his bouts with cancer and all his past decade worth of work on building up HammerHead IRS so I'm trying to do all this with respect to his memory and keeping in mind how he would have wanted me to handle this for Mom and what should stay in the family.
