There’s been a lot of misinformation circulating about gas prices spiking to $8—this is simply not true. The State of California makes routine adjustments to its fuel excise tax at the start of each fiscal year on July 1st, and this year, the adjustment is only a 2-cent increase per gallon.
There is also an expected adjustment to the Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) tax, but those numbers have not yet been finalized and any price impact would occur later this year. While this may affect fuel prices down the line, the extent of the increase is still unknown.
We’ve had many customers express concern and even begin panic buying due to the false claims circulating online. We want to reassure our community that there is no imminent surge to $8 per gallon, and we urge everyone to stay informed with accurate information.

We have been operating at this location since 2010 and have served over 1.2 million customers and sold over 24 million gallons in the last eight years. We like to thank our customers for supporting a locally owned and locally operated business.
