Jordan made his way back to Byron Dragway today completing the 700 mile Midwest drag strip loop of Sick summer in his (wife’s 😉 ) 1932 ford. Originally from Rick Spellmans collection out of Houlton, Maine. When Jordan helped his wife disperse some of Rick’s collection after his passing he purchased a few vehicles for himself with the promise to preserve and drive them as Rick intended. Jordan is a true preservationist- the history of these vehicles means everything to him- he has kept his promise and has taken care of them the way they were always intended. Jordan made the trip to represent Maines street rod history in a reliability run like no other driving the 32 from track to check points to track and all the way back. The trip began and ends with a 1200+ mile one way drive to Illinois and now back to Maine. In a place full of big $$$ sponsors- some kids from Maine showed up and completed the entire challenge without breaking. Well done. And Safe travels back home guys.
