NTP/P2K Certified Warranty Repair Shop!

We recently had a customer come in with a NTP/P2K Warranty. They had a miss in their engine. The injector was throwing a code, tested bad, and it was approved to replace.
After a lash adjustment, the truck ran smoothly, but that didn't fix the real issue. It fixed the symptom.
While replacing the injector, our tech noticed some indicators that this wasn't the real issue.
We removed the injector and scoped the #6 cylinder and saw that the intake valve seat was damaged.
We took borescope pics and got approval to remove and replace the head.
Pulled the head and sure enough, the seat was dropping and there were three others that showed similar signs of failure.

Mid/Upper Level Diesel Technician

We are accepting applications for a Diagnostics/Electrical Diesel Technician position.

Here at Burnside, you'll be primarily responsible for the initial diagnostics on newly arriving equipment, deeper diagnostic work involving schematics, trouble-shooting trees, etc..

Extensive knowledge and experience with electrical testing equipment, diag software (Insite, Davies, JPro, E-Technician, Bendix, Volvo, CAT, Allison, etc) is preferred.

Experience with all aspects of diesel work is a leg up over other applicants. We do all things from regular PMs to out-of-frame rebuilds. Your expertise will be used in a variety of ways.
