The LS6 is going back where it all started 🇺🇸🔥

GM recently confirmed the new 6.7L LS6 V8, debuting in the 2027 Corvette, will be built at its historic facility in Flint, Michigan. This seems wholly appropriate since the Flint factory is the very foundation of the small-block Chevrolet's legendary story.

* Birthplace of the original small-block in 1954
* 40+ million V8s built over the decades
* And now home to the next chapter: the LS6

And the engine itself? No slouch:

* 409 cubic inches
* 535 horsepower / 520 lb-ft
* 13.0:1 compression

Sometimes the future of performance sounds a lot like the past!

This '78 C10 rolled in with a leaking radiator, but we aren’t just patching things up—we’re leveling up.

Thanks to the crew at Summit Racing Equipment , we’re dropping in a high-performance Summit brand crossflow radiator. Rated for 600HP, this setup ensures this truck stays ice-cold whether it’s cruising the strip or hitting the open road.

Getting this classic dialed in for the "cool" drive it deserves.

We just wrapped up this 305 SBC build for the Kevincummings Racingfamily, and this beast is officially dialed in! We’re pushing 440HP of raw, methanol-burning performance that’s ready to scream on the dirt.

It’s been a blast getting this power plant ready for the track. Keep an eye out for this machine—it’s going to be a handful for the competition!

We had this LS-swapped 1st Gen Camaro in the shop for what looked like a standard output shaft seal leak on the T56.
A quick investigation revealed a bit of a "custom" disaster: the driveshaft was actually too long, bottoming out and smashing into the seal. To "fix" it, the previous shop had actually cut the seal just to make things fit.

We don't do shortcuts here. We sent the driveshaft out to be professionally shortened and balanced, replaced the butchered seal, and leveled up the driving experience with a new short-throw shifter. While we were at it, we tidied up some messy speedometer wiring to make sure those gauges actually read true.

This classic is officially dialed in and ready to hit the pavement.

This 2017 Mazda stopped by the shop for a little much-needed TLC. We tackled a full rear brake service with new pads and rotors, swapped out the rear shocks to smooth out the ride, and finished it off with a fresh front wheel hub assembly.

Revving up this Chevy SSR for its time in the spotlight!

This beauty came in with a check engine light and left with a clean bill of health. It definitely needed some TLC to get back to peak performance, but we’ve got her purring like new again.

The Full Recovery Includes:

Performance Tune-up: Fresh spark plugs and wires.

Breathing Easy: New air filter and a deep clean of the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor.

Fuel System Refresh: Swapped the fuel sending unit (built-in filter) and replaced those leaking fuel injectors that were causing the misfire.

Show Ready: Finished it off with a full buff and shine to make that paint pop!

She’s officially dialed in and ready to turn heads at the Riverwalk Car Show the 18th. Come by and see the shine in person!

This 2002 Ford Lightning is back in the shop for some much-needed TLC. The sheer torque from that supercharged V8 finally did a number on the motor mounts, so we’ve swapped those out for a fresh set to keep everything locked down.

We also pressed in some new axle bearings to keep things rolling smooth for now—but stay tuned, because a full rebuild is right around the corner.

This baby is officially ready for the pedal.
