“Why would we tint the sunroof if we’re going to keep it clear?” 👀

Because ceramic tint isn’t just about making glass darker.

This Ram 2500 got 5% ceramic tint on the sides and back for privacy and a much darker look, while we installed 70% ceramic tint on the sunroof so it could stay nearly clear while still getting the performance benefits of ceramic film.

That means you can keep the open, bright feeling of the sunroof while helping reduce the amount of heat and UV exposure coming through all that glass. 🔥

It’s the same reason nearly-clear ceramic film is such a popular option for windshields where permitted — you can get serious heat-rejection benefits without making the glass look heavily tinted.

It’s not every day you get to drive on the “wrong” side of the car 😂🇯🇵

This Toyota Hilux Surf was imported from Japan in 2023, and when the owner trusted us with refreshing the aging vinyl, we knew this was going to be a fun one.

The old graphics had started cracking and peeling, so we carefully removed them and replaced them with a fresh set made to match exactly what he envisioned for the truck.

Projects like this are one of the coolest parts of what we get to do. We work on plenty of newer vehicles, but getting our hands on a right-hand-drive Japanese import with this much character is something special.

We will be out of the shop August 17–18 while Sierra undergoes surgery in Oklahoma City. During this time, we would greatly appreciate prayers over her, our family, and a smooth recovery. ❤️

We’ll reopen Wednesday, August 19, but for the next couple of weeks our appointment availability will be more limited than usual while Noah handles the shop and services our customers largely on his own.

And to our customers, friends, and everyone who has supported Anderson Auto Detailing over the years - we have a pretty big ask.

As a small, family-owned business, closing the shop for even two days makes an impact. Pair that with temporarily having fewer hands available to complete jobs, and the next few weeks are going to look a little different for us.

This customer came to us with a brand-new (to her) white Yukon AT4 and a clear vision for exactly how she wanted it to look. She handed it over to us, and we brought that vision to life. 😍

Up front, we gave the bumper a full chrome delete - but instead of traditional gloss black vinyl, we used gloss black PPF to get the blacked-out look while adding protection against future rock chips and road debris.

Then we finished the transformation with a gloss black tuxedo wrap across the top of the Yukon, giving it that clean, aggressive two-tone look.

The end result completely changed the personality of this AT4. 🖤🤍
