CHILIBOWL RENTAL

2024 Spike with 166ci Esslinger RSI. All TI hardware and TI brakes, carbon body, SBS/FK adjustable shocks, Engine made CB prelim A feature , has 12 nights on it. Car will remain yellow and can add any sponsors you need on there.
Fuel,Tires, crew and catering included standard crash clause required

Night one at Port City Raceway in the books, car had good speed and the driver was on point. Started P6 and end P6 in the heat reace, P4 to P1 in in the B feature.
We started P17 for the feature, Kris rolled the bottom getting up to 10th at one point before getting pushed into the front stretch wall, blowing the right front bearings out of the hub. we ended up back where we started finishing P17. Back at it tonight and tomorrow

Ran i44 tonight, won our heat and took a ride in the feature. Old Esslinger was eating. Trading places 3rd or 4th before getting in the fence. Not much difference between running “ON” the fence and getting “IN” the fence. Last two races we found lots of speed and Kris loves the old Boss chassis we modified so that’s the frame he will be in for the CB. Driver is Ok , Car not to bad.

Had a good hotrod tonight.
Led the heat, motor started missing with two to go and ended up -P2.
Richened up for feature and started P4 . Got fenced and shuffled back to seventh , lucky caution came out and restarted P5. Made an adjustment and Kris found another gear got to second blasting the cushion until the motor started missing again. Ran the bottom and finished a solid fourth. That car has been sitting since Chilibowl. Just needs a little love to get it back to what we once had! In to the next one!

Weekend Traffic Alert

US-75 closed, I-44 narrows to one lane Friday-Sunday
Drivers on I-44 and US-75 should be aware of the following closures beginning at 7 p.m. Friday near the interchange for beam installation:

All lanes of north and southbound US-75 will be closed between I-44 and I-244 from 8 p.m. Friday through 10 p.m. Saturday.
Southbound US-75 traffic will be diverted to westbound I-244, then to eastbound I-44 to rejoin southbound US-75
Northbound US-75 traffic will be diverted to eastbound I-44; then detoured using westbound SH-51/Broken Arrow Expwy to rejoin northbound US-75.
Eastbound I-44 will be narrowed to one lane moving through the eastbound collector road at US-75 from 7 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
Westbound I-44 will be narrowed to one lane at US-75 from 7 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
