Paintmaster has an immediate opening for an auto body painter's helper. Duties include preparing, sanding, priming and masking vehicle bodies for painting, as well as other auto body repair processes as needed throughout the shop. All work is performed according to factory and quality specifications under the supervision of a trained auto body professional. Ongoing training on the job and through I-CAR classes is provided. Tools are a plus and we will help with financing of tool purchases and needed to further your career in the auto body industry.

We are taking applications from anyone with the qualifications listed below. Best qualified applicants are those who’ve worked in the auto body or mechanical repair industry. Attention to minor details is important, but also a willingness to learn the details of following OEM guidelines that govern our profession. This job can be a great starting point for those interested in the collision repair industry as a career.

Job Requirements:
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of how automobiles work
• Ability to demonstrate quality workmanship on a consistent basis
• Work with other team members to provide a quality repair for customers

Required Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent

Accelerated placement and advancement available for applicants who have completed a Vocational Technical program in Auto Body Repair
