We've seen the weather - our first round of winter weather will be here Sunday with cold temps! Here are a few tips to make sure your car is ready for it:

1. TEST YOUR BATTERY - cold weather drains battery power fast, you can get batteries tested for FREE at O'Reilly, AutoZone, or Advance Auto Parts
2. CHECK YOUR TIRES - once the snow and ice hits, you might be skiing in your car if your tires are bald and the drop in temperature will drop your tire pressures quick
3. INSPECT YOUR BRAKES - icy roads demand good brakes, be sure you can stop when you need to
4. TOP OFF YOUR FLUIDS - antifreeze, oil, and washer fluid will protect your engine and help your visibility in freezing weather
5. CHANGE YOUR WIPER BLADES - old, worn, damaged wiper blades can't keep up with the snow and ice
6. BE WINTER READY - keep essentials like scrapers, de-icers, blankets, and water in your car so you're ready for anything

We know, we know - there's no snow and ice yet in our forecast YET, but the cold can make your car immobile just as fast.
