Performance. Precision. Oktoberfest.

Every once in a while, even German engineering likes to stretch its legs and celebrate its roots.

Oktoberfest began in Munich more than 200 years ago, and while the celebration has traveled far beyond Bavaria, some traditions are simply too good not to embrace.
Especially when they involve great food, good company, a little German pride, and, of course, the four rings.

This week, Audi Tulsa is proud to serve as the Official Vehicle Partner of Tulsa Oktoberfest, helping lead the kickoff parade and joining the festivities at River Parks.

From Day One. One of a Kind.

Some people are part of the team. Others become part of the story.

Yesterday, we gathered at Audi Tulsa to celebrate a very special man, Gary Marten, as he closed an extraordinary chapter and began a well-earned retirement.

Gary was here from Day One. Literally. Audi Tulsa Employee #0001.

For 23 years, Gary helped build and lead more than a service department. He built relationships, earned the trust of generations of Audi owners, led our service and parts teams, and helped establish the standards of care and professionalism that define Audi Tulsa today.

Yesterday was bittersweet. We knew this day was coming, but that certainly did not make saying goodbye any easier. With family, friends, and the entire Audi Tulsa team gathered to celebrate, it was a fitting tribute to someone who has meant so much to so many.

Gary, thank you for your leadership, your friendship, your loyalty, and 23 incredible years of making a difference here in Tulsa.

Gary is leaving behind quite a legacy. And an even bigger collection of people who are grateful to have been part of your journey. From all of us at Audi Tulsa, cheers to you and your family as you set sail on your next adventure.

Some people leave a lasting impression long after their last day. Gary Marten is one of those people.

Today, we celebrate our dear friend, colleague and Service Manager as he retires after 46 years in the automotive industry, including 23 with Lexus of Tulsa and Audi Tulsa.

Behind those years are relationships built, customers cared for and teammates supported. Gary’s dedication has meant so much to our team and to the people who have trusted us with their vehicles.

To Gary and his family: thank you for the years of commitment and everything you have shared with us along the way. We wish you more time together, new adventures and every happiness in the chapter ahead.

You will always be part of our Audi Tulsa family, Gary. Congratulations on a retirement well earned!
