Hello from Blaze In Saddle RV Park!

We just expanded our metal art mural that is along the front fence line of our park.

We started with a cowboy, a steer and a horse. Today we added four more pieces which include a cow skull, two stars and even a vulture!

We got all of these art pieces from Stella and Jimmy Watson of Tucumcari Ranch supply and Watson’s BBQ. 🤠

These metal art pieces are just perfect for our unique RV Park! Hope you like them too!

We also added flags to celebrate the USA! We are proud of our park and our country! 🇺🇸💕

Here’s today’s silly story in the park….

As a guest was leaving this morning, Kevin noticed the problem and immediately flagged down the guest before they left the park.

They had forgotten to take their emergency break off on their tow vehicle - so they were making divots in the gravel as the back tires dragged along the way.

The guest took care of their brakes and left relieved because it was an easy solution. (Otherwise, it could have resulted in having 2 rear tires blown.)

So Kevin immediately said “time to pull out the mattress!” What do I mean?

Here’s a quick back-story…..
A couple of months ago someone dumped a mattress near the front of our park along route 66. The city wouldn’t pick it up so Kevin put it in one of our dumpsters.
Well, the trash guy wouldn’t empty the dumpster because everything has to be “inside” the dumpster - with nothing sticking out.

After trying to bend - or cut it in half - with no luck, an idea came to Kevin. He took off the mattress padding, leaving just the coils. Next thing I knew, he was “fluffing up the gravel” with this old mattress.
I got a good laugh - and some fun pics - at another one of my husband’s crazy ideas. But, it really does work for those “light touch-ups”!

I can’t make these things up! 😳🙄🤣

We’ve been waiting for a warm sunny day to give our park “golden” mascots - Camper and Bowden - a much-needed bath!

Our elevated dog bath is located right outside the office door and is available to all guests. We have dog shampoo and a smock available in the office. Donations are greatly appreciated and 100% of them will go to our local animal rescue, Paws and Claws in Tucumcari. Blaze-In-Saddle RV Park

Since we finally have a nice sunny day, it’s a perfect time for our park “golden” mascots - Camper and Bowden - to get a much-needed bath!

Our elevated dog bath is now located right outside the office door. We do have dog shampoo and a smock available by donation. All donations go to our local Paws and Claws Animal Rescue and are greatly appreciated! Inquire at check-in!
