WE LOVE CLASSICS – When a beautifully restored 1970 Chevy C-10 came to our door, everyone had to stop and take a look. The owner wanted to upgrade the audio while keeping the classic factory look. We installed a Custom Autosound retro Bluetooth radio for the right look in the dash. Powering the system is an AudioControl EPICFIVE amplifier. Using custom speaker brackets from Custom Autosound, we installed a pair of AudioControl PNW4 dash speakers. For the mid-bass, we used a pair of Kicker 51KSC6504 coaxial speakers mounted in custom kick-panel pods. Low-end fill comes from an Infinity Reference RF1000S 10-inch slim subwoofer and enclosure behind the front seats. We also added Stinger X sound damping to improve sound quality and reduce road noise. The result is a classic truck upgraded with a clean, powerful system while keeping the original look intact! The owner of a 2006 Chevy Silverado came into our North Tucson location wanting us to install some LED light bars he had acquired. We’re always happy to perform this kind of service for our customers, During the installation, we noticed he had a great sounding system but didn't have a subwoofer and was lacking on the bass end. In total agreement, the truck owner also felt his car audio system was missing something. So we set him up with two sets of Kicker 43TCWRT102 pre-loaded 10-inch boxes with passive radiators and an 1800-watt Kicker amp to push them.
