Tyson was down in Green Valley helping settle his parents’ estate and clean out their home. May their memories be a blessing. Among the decisions he had to make were his mom’s and dad’s vehicles. The other day I helped an 87-year-old gentleman buy a truck. I followed up with him to see how everything was going, expecting to hear about the ride quality or fuel mileage.

Instead he told me:
“It’s great. I finally have someone to talk to when I’m driving.”

“Hey RAM, set the temperature to 72.”
“Hey RAM, drive me home.”
“Hey RAM, play Frank Sinatra.”

He laughed and said he loves having a driving companion riding shotgun with him everywhere he goes.

Technology gets a bad reputation sometimes, but moments like that remind you it can also bring comfort, confidence, and a little companionship too.

So for all you lonely people out there… maybe your next companion is sitting on four wheels waiting for you. 😆
