Spent the day cruising the Pines and Bay Area with Jersey Shore Slingshots and it was hands down one of our favorite filming days of the season. Although operations were paused for the 2026 season due to family caregiving needs, they still made this experience available for us to try, and they’re planning to resume rentals in 2027 for locals and visitors of Long Beach Island and its surrounding towns. A few things to know before you book: renters need to be 25 or older, and any additional drivers have to be 21+ and listed during booking (kids under 5 unfortunately can’t tag along). All you need is a regular driver’s license, no special certification required, since it drives like a normal car with an automatic transmission. New Jersey law requires helmets for every ride, and they’ve got you covered with DOT-certified ones in small, medium, and large. Just keep in mind it’s strictly a road vehicle, so no beach runs or off-roading, and since there’s no climate control, dress for the weather and hang onto your hat once you’re up to speed. They even provide a GoPro so you or your passenger can showcase your entire experience, and they turn it into a memory of the day, meshed to your choice of song, sent to you after your trip as a token of appreciation for booking with them.
