"Ride For Those Who Can't" - AUGUST 22, 2026
Proud Veterans M/C - Mid-Michigan

DROP THE CLUTCH, LOSE THE F*CKS

One of the hardest battles a veteran can face doesn't happen overseas.

It happens when they come home.

For years, they had a mission. A purpose. A team. People who depended on them. Every day mattered because they knew exactly why they got out of bed.

Then one day the uniform comes off.

The deployments end.

The phone stops ringing.

And for a lot of veterans, the question starts creeping in:

"Now what?"

I've talked to veterans who would gladly walk back into danger before facing the silence that comes after service. Not because they're weak. Not because they're broken.

Because purpose matters.

When you've spent years serving something bigger than yourself, it's hard to suddenly feel like you're just another face in the crowd.

That's where too many veterans get lost.

Not because they lack strength.

Because they lack connection.

They lack community.

They lack a mission.

The truth is, your service didn't end when you hung up the uniform. The skills, leadership, grit, and heart that carried you through military service are still there. This country still needs you. Your community still needs you. Young people need mentors. Fellow veterans need brothers and sisters who understand. Families need leaders.

Your purpose didn't disappear.

You just haven't found your next mission yet.

If you're a veteran reading this and feeling stuck, know this:

The world is better because you're in it.

Your story isn't over.

Your best chapter might still be ahead of you.

Keep moving forward.

We're damn sure glad you're here.

Hi everyone, Mrs. Yeti here!

We have a LOT happening this summer at Ride with Purpose, and I wanted to share a quick rundown of what's coming up and how you can get involved. Whether you'd like to attend an event, become a sponsor, donate raffle items, or simply help spread the word, we'd love to have you along for the ride!

🏍️ Bike Nights Benefiting The Laundry Project
Join us at the Interlochen Eagles for our bike nights on June 18th and July 16th.

For those unfamiliar with The Laundry Project, they help individuals and families with limited financial resources gain access to clean laundry. Most of us have experienced the inconvenience of a broken washer or dryer, but imagine not having reliable access to one at all. Now imagine trying to keep your children's clothes clean for school under those circumstances. That's where The Laundry Project steps in.

The Laundry Project operates:
• At Eastfield Laundry on 8th Street on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month
• At Traverse City Laundry on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month

We'll be hosting 50/50 raffles during bike nights, with proceeds going directly to The Laundry Project. We'll also be collecting donations of unscented laundry detergent, fabric softener, and dryer sheets.

🚲 Hope on 2 Wheels – August 1st
Our inaugural Hope on 2 Wheels ride will benefit Camp Hope!
For those of you in the Thumb region, this is a great opportunity to get out, enjoy a ride, and help make a difference in the lives of children. We are currently seeking event sponsors as well as donations for giveaways and raffles.

Our goal? To raise enough money to help DOUBLE the size of Camp Hope in 2027!

🇺🇸 Some Gave All Ride – September 5th
The ride that started it all!

Benefiting Reigning Liberty Ranch in Traverse City, this event features a full day of riding, camaraderie, raffles, a 50/50 drawing, and plenty of fun.

And let's be honest—many of you come back every year for Adam's BBQ. I know I would! The food alone is worth the trip.
We're hoping the weather cooperates this year. Third time's the charm, right?

We're currently looking for sponsors, raffle donations, giveaway items, and if anyone knows a musician willing to donate some time and talent, we'd love to hear from you!

🚂 Operation Iron Thunder – September 19th
Last, but certainly not least, we'll be hosting Operation Iron Thunder in Owosso.

This event is especially close to our hearts. Proceeds will help provide 15 at-risk youth and their chaperones with the holiday experience of a lifetime aboard the North Pole Express.
We've partnered with the Steam Railroad Institute, who have generously donated the children's tickets. Funds raised will help cover the cost of chaperone tickets and provide gifts for the children, helping create memories they'll never forget.

❤️ How You Can Help
This is a lot more than we ever imagined taking on during our first official year as a nonprofit, but we're excited for every opportunity to serve our communities and support these incredible causes.

We're working hard behind the scenes, but we can't do it alone. We need YOUR help to make these events successful!
We look forward to seeing familiar faces, meeting new friends, and growing this amazing community together. If you'd like to sponsor an event, donate raffle items, volunteer, or learn more, reach out to us through Messenger, email, phone—or heck, even smoke signals.

Thank you all for your support. We couldn't do this without you!
