🚨 Let’s talk about those dreaded stains…
Stains can be one of the trickiest parts of detailing because there’s SO much more to them than what meets the eye. A stain isn’t always just dirt sitting on top of the upholstery, depending on what caused it, how long it has been there, and what the material has been exposed to, it can actually change the fibers or color of the fabric.
One of our biggest goals when using our extractors is making sure that the water coming back out is CLEAN! That means we’ve pulled the dirt, grime, and contaminants out of the upholstery that we can safely remove.
Sometimes we’re able to completely eliminate a stain and make it look like it was never there…Other times, there may still be some discoloration left behind. And that’s okay!!
Our goal is always to make the vehicle look clean, refreshed, and pleasing to the eye while protecting the integrity of your upholstery. We aren’t going to keep aggressively chasing a stain once the material is clean if doing so could break down fibers, damage the fabric, or compromise the upholstery. Clean doesn’t always mean stain-free. And knowing when to stop is just as important as knowing how to clean it. We’ll always do our best to get your interior looking its absolute best, but we’ll never sacrifice the material just to say we removed a stain. That’s part of detailing the RIGHT way. 🧼✨
