Our staff has been working tirelessly to keep the vehicles around our community safe, reliable, and on the road. We truly appreciate the hard work and dedication they put in every day, and we’re rewarding the crew with an extra-long weekend to rest, recharge, and spend some time with family.

Take a look at the difference between these two Variable Valve Timing (VVT) oil control valves.

The bottom valve became clogged with sludge and debris after extended oil change intervals. The screen plugged up, restricting oil flow to the actuator. Without proper oil pressure, the camshaft timing couldn't adjust correctly, leading to poor performance and a check engine light.

The top valve is brand new—and it's a great reminder that something as simple as routine oil changes can help prevent costly problems down the road.

Full Synthetic Oil Changes: Every 5 months or 5,000 miles
Synthetic Blend Oil Changes: Every 3 months or 3,000 miles

A customer brought this older chevy in and was having a misfire after doing a tune-up. The plug wires were routed incorrectly and melted to the EGR pipe causing his misfire. If you look closely, you can see the spark from the ignition wire arcing to the pipe. It's important to properly route ignition wires and wiring harnesses to avoid problems like this.
