Making ice as week speak. Just a little bit of blow snow on the surface now so it will freeze fast in the next week or so. The main lake may still have open water however the back bays are ice shore to shore in most areas. 😎🐕🐕‍🦺☃️

Pike bay has ice from shore to shore on the west end of the bay. Night time lows have been well below freezing the last few days and that trend will continue for the next 7 months. 😎🐕🐕‍🦺☃️

It could very well be the last warm sunny weekend of the fishing season and everybody else is in the woods hunting. The Walleye action this time of the year is awesome and it’s a great time to take advantage of the great weather and the empty lake to get a limit. 😎🐕🐕‍🦺

We had some ice on Pike bay this morning so it won’t be to much longer for all of you ice jockeys to get out. Warm temps coming over the weekend so it won’t be happening anytime soon however. 😎☃️🐕🐕‍🦺

The ice is in pretty good shape in the McKinley park area on the east end. There are people driving small cars and trucks but not to many full size vehicles yet. Walleye action had been good before the Holidays. I haven’t been out lately but small jigs with a minnow or a minnow head have been effective early and late in the day. 😎

The ice is breaking down here on Pike bay. The bay should be open in a couple of weeks if the weather cooperates. The snow has melted fast the last few days and everything should be looking much greener in the next few weeks. 😷

Terrible ice conditions have kept a lot of anglers off the lake the last couple of weeks. Not to much info to share as I haven’t been out. Lots of snow and slush out there. Good Luck! 😎

Hello everybody, not much to say as I haven’t been out on the ice this year. The one thing I have heard is that there is a lot of slush out there. I guess there have been some good fishing for those that have ventured out. Good luck and be safe out there. ☃️⛄️☃️⛄️

Hey all, My boat is getting some necessary repairs and a new trolling motor. It’s really amazing how fast you can spend 2 grand on a boat. 😥😎

Hey everybody, how is the fishing? The walleye action has been picking up on the Big V lately and the Smallmouth action has been ver good. Muskie action is picking up and I have heard of some big ones hitting the net for some anglers. The weather has been good and should continue that way most of the next week. 😎
