Today we experienced something very disappointing that directly hurts small businesses like ours.
Earlier today, a man named Robert but goes by the nick name (T**i )brought in a 2017 Cadillac Escalade for a rear glass replacement. Our team completed the work and contacted him to let him know his vehicle was ready for pickup.
The customer came into the office and appeared to begin the payment process but then said he would step outside and be right back. While we were helping another customer on the phone, he went outside, got into the vehicle, and drove away without paying for the service that had just been completed. Apparently he had extra keys for his vehicle.
We later contacted him several times but no response. We have made a police report, but unfortunately situations like this often take time and donโt always lead anywhere.
As a small family business, situations like this are extremely difficult. Every job represents the cost of materials, labor, and time from our team. When someone takes advantage of our work like this, it directly impacts our business.
