Choose a firm, level surface with space for airflow, and disconnect your device once its battery is full.

Hellsgate Fire Department encourages parents to check children’s charging habits, too. A tablet tucked under a pillow can create a dangerous situation.

✨️ Master Ambulance Technician Certification & letter arrived in the mail this week! 📃🚑🔧

Over labor day weekend, went down to Tempe, had 1 more ASE test to complete Level 3 test requirements. Passed & submitted documentation to receive the official acknowledgement.

Now to find a good jacket to get all these patches on!!! Any recommendations? ((Technicians wife asking 🥰 -- I'm sure he has a preference in mind lol))

Last summer, we enjoyed time away in the Pines 🌲 while Charlie completed all requirements for his Level 1 Fire Apparatus!!

LEVEL 💥 2 💥 REQUIREMENTS!!

Scheduled just a day before this year's Summit Training & is sitting in his Foams Training class as I share this great accomplishment!!

We are so proud to continue 👏 strengthening our knowledge, experiences & the desire to uphold the idea to keep 1st Responders the safest on the road!!!

Crews continue working day and night to keep the Pocket Fire within identified containment lines. Although very little rain occurred yesterday over the fire area, two lightning strikes were observed in the vicinity of Secret Mountain near the Southwest perimeter of the fire. Crews are on alert for potential thunderstorm activity again this afternoon with a chance of lightning and gusty outflow winds. Firefighters are also poised for initial attack in the event of lightning starts.

🚩 RED FLAG WARNING — CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS 🚩

The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for all of Northern Arizona from 11:00 AM MST Friday through 8:00 PM MST Sunday.

During this time, our area can expect:

🔥 Southwest winds of 20–30 mph
🔥 Wind gusts of 40–50 mph
🔥 Stronger gusts near 60 mph possible in wind-prone areas
🔥 Minimum relative humidity values of 8–20%

The combination of strong winds and very low humidity can cause new or existing fires to spread rapidly.

Hellsgate Fire Department urges everyone to use extreme caution with anything that could start a wildfire. Avoid outdoor burning, secure trailer chains, properly dispose of ci******es, and be careful with equipment that can create sparks.
