Beginning today, October 5, 2023, law enforcement will start issuing citations for Ohio's new distracted driving law. Using or holding a cell phone or other electronic device with your hands, in your lap, or any other part of your body while driving is illegal. Phones down! It’s the law!

Have you ridden our historic train yet this season? If so, you may have seen this guy, John McAvoy. John recently completed his conductor training and made his first official run as conductor yesterday!

John and all of our volunteers would love to see you on board the train! Trains depart every Saturday at noon and 2:30 and Sundays at 1:00. Our popular Robbery Trains run at 6:00 on June 24, July 8, Aug. 12, 26 and Sept. 16. We also have shuttle trips to Thunder in the Valley on July 4 at 7:30, 8:30 and 9:30. Any additional dinner or steam-powered trips we may add will be announced here on Facebook. All trains are diesel unless noted.

They‘re the calm voice that lets the caller know they're not alone. They get help on the way, relay vital information to the officers and firefighters on the street and they help keep us safe!
