On Monday July 21 a “customer” named Fady Gohbrial arrived to pick up his truck from us after performing a bunch of mechanical repairs. But as a surprise to us, he showed up with local police, questioning our work, then demanding that he takes his truck. While our staff was in shock, we supplied the police with all documentation of what was done and owed to us. As we were doing this, Fady got in his truck and drove away.
At Jersey Fresh, we run an honest, hard-working shop. We’ve been doing business the right way for 8 years — We’ve NEVER had an issue like this. Our customers respect us, we respect them. That’s how it’s always been.
Until this guy.
He brought his vehicle in to us after saying we were HIGHLY recommended someone he knows personally. He told us he heard we do good work — and we delivered exactly that. No complaints. No issues. Just solid, professional service. We did real, documented work. When the bill was due? He didn’t call to talk. He didn’t raise a complaint. He called the police, clearly planning ahead not to pay. He than took the truck without settling the invoice. This is theft of service under NJ Law.
He currently works at RPD limousine located in Green Brook NJ, but uses this truck to “haul” on the side. We’re sure you like getting paid for your time… funny how that respect didn’t go both ways.
Legal action is already in progress:
✔️ Mechanic’s lien filed
✔️ Theft of services complaint
✔️ Civil action pending
Now we’re hearing he’s running to another shop to “check our work” — more like trying to cover his tracks or set up the next shop to take the hit.
So let this be a clear warning to every local shop and mechanic:
🚫 Don’t work on his car.
🚫 Don’t waste your time.
🚫 Don’t fall for it.
Please share this post so we can make this public. And protect other businesses.
We also want to thank our current and future customers for trusting us with their vehicles. We will continue to provide quality work and repair/build some of the nicest trucks around.
Thank you
