Terrible calls, laughable announcing, and not one break for a Bulldog to be found anywhere in Jacksonville today. And once again we walk away with all the cookies.

It's not the offense. It's clearly not the defense. It's not the special teams. It's not the coaching. I'm not taking anything away from anybody. There are no stars here. And that's the point.

It's guts.

And that starts and spreads and catches fire with one man: #14. Gunner goes -- and EVERYBODY follows.

We always have great players. We always have great coaching. We have a great program. But when we are at our truly greatest is when we dig up yet another dynamo who powers the rest of the machine on sheer will. I will reference one Stetson Bennett as perhaps the greatest example ever of that.

Gunner has picked up the flag Stet left laying on the ground after his war. Unlike that fella who now plays down south, Gunner got that Dawg in him.

Next thing you know we're 7-1 and right in the thick of it, with far and away the worst of our schedule deep in the rearview.

Titanic Live: Thursday, April 11th, 1912, evening - Now well on her way from the ship’s last ever port of call, life aboard Titanic has begun to settle into a familiar onboard routine as she enters her second night at sea. A journey along the southern coast of Ireland and out beyond Daunt Rock where her engines are warmed up to just over 20 knots has brought her to the edge of the true North Atlantic by sunset today. Earlier this afternoon, a chance encounter with a French fishing trawler has seen Titanic steam by her so closely that seawater from the liner’s wake is splashed upon the deck of the smaller boat, and waves are exchanged between those on both trawler and Titanic’s bridge.

Nearly nineteen hundred miles to the west, Canadian Pacific liner RMS Corsican has reported to other vessels nearby that she will be stopping for the evening on account of heavy fog and much drifting sea ice, though not much further trouble is made of it.
