Just a little hopped up 305ci with aftermarket vortec iron heads for a engine swap.

. This one was a low hour build that came in with a couple spun rod bearings. Was able to save some of the components but had to replay the crankshaft and a couple pistons, rods were saved and block wasn’t damaged. Fully prepared the block and set clearances. All good now.

maker of power bond harmonic balancers, called their tech department about the balancers degree markings that are off about 17 degrees, the line of bullsh!t he tried to feed me was next level! “We purposely changed the degree markings by 5 to 20 degrees in request from the racing community” but couldn’t provide a definitive explanation as to why but remarked it was “easier to see”. WOW. I grilled him as to the validity of this and hy doesn’t do this or any others? lol, he said “it is what it is”!
