The was given the opportunity to restore this 997.1 GT3 “Daytona”. One of 11 built by the team at Porsche Motorsport North America for the at Daytona International Speedway 🏁 It features a one inch wider track with custom bodywork, a larger Crawford wing and uprights, 120 liter fuel cell and suspension & brakes. Driven by Dr. Jim Lowe in the 2009 this car has been sitting on display for many years. It’s now ready for the Monterey Motorsports Festival | Car Week next month. Thank you to Ken Dobson for a successful shakedown. See you at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in a few weeks!

During the long hot summer the The Thermal Club maintenance crew works tirelessly to improve the facilities for the upcoming season. Thank you LM David Area Southwest for setting them up with LIQUI MOLY hats, sunglasses, lip balm and neck gators to make the desert a little more bearable!
