spent some time today doing crash cameras for the local Freight liner dealer.
I also do ELD work as well.

Minor service in progress.
Swapped the camera on the car after 3 yrs of it not working and for some reason its not hitting the screen.. ( camera has video according to my Tek) Soooo.. out it comes to work out where its not punching through.

Test board on top of the nismo boards for those watching and know what this is.

Foot note , new speedometer cable is an ideal time to pull this thing out.

Another hot rod project here. 1957 Chevrolet 2 door post. I build these to a customer budget . this one has yet to be trimmed by Flanagan Auto Upholstery but when completed it will certainly look the part and definitely sound it as well.
Audio is a mix or Morel, Audison and Sony.
Front stage consists of Morel Carbon Nano 6.5" components, Rear are 6x9 Tempo Ultra coax, Subs are 8" audison ( disregard the first image as I swapped these out.) Initial impressions of the system indicates it will certainly have volume once everything is in place and I can properly tune it. the Sony 6ch amplifier also doubles as an audio source via Bluetooth so there is no radio visible in the car.

Local customer came to me with camera issues. Two new OE cameras , coding with AlfaOBD and one happy customer.
These vans are common around this area and are known for camera problems. Very few can code these apart from the dealership. Local shops will turn these vehicles away. I won't.

fun fact:
not all Ford F150 Pick ups are the same. 2017 Roush F150 has front and rear cameras with front and rear parking sensors.
2019 DOES NOT, it has rear camera and rear sensors.

a front camera was discussed for this one ( and I can certain add one for those that want one.) Budget didn't allow for it.

As high as these trucks are you have a good 6ft (2m) in front of you that you cannot see a thing.

In this instance Rostra make a fairly neat kit that works VERY similar to the original but uses a display and tones to stop you hitting things.

This kit can be added to pretty much any truck that has a serious forward blind spot.

Reverse camera project - Oldsmobile Toronado with screen PT 3.

Camera plate is back and perfect. the test piece is shown here. I had it powder coated in black. Installation is a case of remove single light, slide this in place , bolt down with two 7mm screws , route camera cable and click camera into place.

plate light panel is now of revision 4. The first 3 the inner dimension was wrong. rev 4 moves the lights in a bit more and closer to the bumper flat panel. this plate is designed to be used with a dremel to make the cuts clean so the lights can come out for servicing.

also using a later ( meaning newer) test camera.

Harnesses are next. I wanted to get the lights and camera panels correct first.
All of my harnesses have to come out again for production.
