I used the old Willys MB to clear some tree limbs and a rotten tree from my grandmother’s yard before the next wave of storms. 1 tree was dead. I was able to use the Jeep to drag the entire pine whole into the woods. The others were just limbs I chopped off that were pointed at her home. The Jeep pulled the tree and trailer load perfectly as I knew it would! I love these old Jeeps!

“I’ll be leaving for Boone, NC On Saturday morning. Anyone is welcome to purchase something on the immediate needs list and I will take it up. Donations are also welcome and I can make the purchase. Goods on the list can be dropped at the green trailer at Florence Fire Department building 7:00 pm.”

I could at least nearly fill two coolers.

I have seen countless videos and stories of what has happened to so many cities that were impacted by the Hurricane Helene. It is terrible. Many family’s split, lost, roads completely removed… even cities wiped away from what it sounds like. People are missing all over. I’d personally love to go up there and help someone shovel out mud from their home or help get to someone to help any way I could. I don’t have the funding to make a 10 hour trip there and back. I know I could help with my hands, but decided to do what I know I could do. I went to Courtney’s Hardware thinking about maybe what I would need if trees were down all around me and I needed a way to keep things going. The owner of Courtney’s Hardware helped me look and also donated a lot to drop on this trailer. Courtney’s Hardware and the gentleman hauling this trailer to the Church in North Carolina are some good folks!

As time progresses, the closer you are to God, many people will see you as one of those Christian “nuts”. You may even feel this way at times. Be a rock that never breaks. If you are viewed this way, don’t feel ashamed. That more than likely means you’re in the right. People generally don’t want to feel they must go a certain way. They don’t like to feel they are in the wrong. I myself am guilty of this nature and have to remind myself what’s really important and at stake. God is everything. Be that religious “nut” so called person. The Bible sure seems to be literally unfolding prophecy after prophecy. Keep your eyes open and the amor of your heart up. Keep your heart in the right place. Things will only get worse in our world. That is Written and happening day by day as the count down continues.
