As we reflect on this Labor Day, maybe part of honoring our hard work is remembering the importance of rest.

Despite all the noise and uncertainty in our world, there is still something powerful about slowing down, breathing deeply, and enjoying the simple things—water, trees, sunshine, and a little peace and quiet.

No matter how complicated the world becomes, peace can still be found in simple places.

Happy Labor Day from Patt’s Place.

This little lady managed to catch herself a duck and was pretty proud of it! The duck may have had a different opinion about the whole situation. 🦆😂

We are absolutely loving the morning view of our Nature Pool and wanted to share a little more of the progress! 🌿☀️💦

There’s still plenty of work to be done, but watching this vision come to life has been pretty incredible. Our natural swimming pool will overlook our catch-and-release pond, and beyond that, you can even catch a view of the Big River in the distance.

A lot of thought, planning, and hard work has gone into creating something that feels like it belongs right here in the landscape. Duane Patt with RD Patt Enterprises, LLC designed the Nature Pool and has been doing the construction, bringing the vision together one rock at a time.

It’s definitely still a work in progress, but mornings like this give us a pretty good glimpse of what’s to come.

We can’t wait to see the finished view. ❤️

When guests who have spent nearly two years traveling the country tell us Patt’s Place is “by far the nicest,” that means more than we can say.

We work hard to make Patt’s Place more than somewhere to park an RV. We want it to be a place where our guests feel comfortable, welcomed and at home.

Thank you, Steve, for the incredibly kind words — and we’re still working on finding a way to keep you a little longer!

Remember those baby bunnies we shared a couple of days ago? Well, here are a few of the grown-ups. 🐰❤️

Three of our adult rabbits were hanging out together by the wooded area this morning, apparently having their own little morning meeting.

The babies may have stolen the show last time, but the adults are pretty darn cute too.

Where else do you get a morning view like this right outside your RV?
Peace, woods, wildlife, and a little bunny entertainment thrown in.

Some of the best entertainment at Patt's Place is also the simplest. 🐰

We have some brand-new little residents!

Rabbits aren't just for kids. Our adult campers love sitting back and watching them play, dig tunnels, interact and explore their little world.

There's just something about slowing down and enjoying the simple things.

And now we have a whole new generation to watch grow up. ❤️

It's nothing fancy — and that's kind of the point. Just another little piece of life at Patt's Place.

What really makes a great RV park?

Ask experienced RV travelers and you'll hear many of the same answers:

Reliable full hookups.
Wi-Fi that works.
Clean bathrooms and showers.
Laundry facilities.
Space between sites.
Trees and shade.
Well-maintained grounds.
Someone available when there's a problem.

And one of the biggest ones of all — peace and quiet.
