🔧💙 GOOD MORNING, HOUSTON COUNTY!

It's Monday, and you know what that means...

MOTOR CARE MONDAY! 🚗🛻

🍂 Fall is here, and cooler mornings are starting to remind us that winter isn't too far behind.

Now's a good time to give your vehicle a little attention BEFORE it decides to demand some. 😂

A few things worth checking:

🔋 Battery: Cold weather can expose a weak battery.

🛞 Tires: Falling temperatures can mean falling tire pressure.

💧 Antifreeze: Make sure your cooling system has the proper protection for colder weather.

🧽 Wiper Blades: If they're streaking, squeaking, or just smearing everything around, it's probably time.

🔧 Belts & Hoses: A little inspection now can save a big headache later.

And remember, you don't have to be a mechanic to ask questions!

That's why we're here. Real people, behind a real parts counter, ready to help our neighbors keep things running.

💙 Serving Houston County since 1994.

Now we've got a question for YOU! 👇

😂 What's the worst time your vehicle has ever decided NOT to start?

We know Houston County has some stories!

❤️ Give us a like, 💬 tell us your story, and 🔄 share this post with your friends and neighbors.

Every bit of support helps us reach more of the community we've proudly served for over 30 years!

🔧 Houston County, you don't have to know the part number. That's what we're here for.

Sometimes you know exactly what you need.

And sometimes you walk into the parts store holding a broken piece of something and say:

👉 “I need one of THESE.” 😂

We understand both.

If you're trying to track down a part, give us as much information as you can:

🚗 Year
🔧 Make & model
⚙️ Engine size
🛻 2WD or 4WD when applicable
📸 And sometimes a picture or the old part can help too!

From there, let us work with you.

Because there's a difference between finding a part and finding the right part.

At NAPA Tennessee Ridge, you'll find real people behind the counter who are willing to help you figure it out.

That's what local service is supposed to look like. 💙

🔧 Serving Houston County since 1994.

And while we've got you here, tell us something:

👇 What's the strangest thing you've ever carried into a parts store and said, “I need another one of these”? 😂

🔧 Alright, Houston County... what's in the garage? 👀

We've talked enough today. Now we want to hear from you.

What are you working on right now?

🚗 Daily driver that needs a little attention?
🛻 Bringing an old truck back to life?
🚜 Keeping the tractor going?
🏎️ Building something just because you can?
😬 Or is there currently a vehicle sitting in your driveway that has made you question every decision that led to owning it?

Tell us about it in the comments. 👇

Better yet, drop a picture of your project! 📸

We want this page to be about more than what's sitting on our shelves. Houston County is full of people building, fixing, restoring and keeping things running, and we'd love to see what you're working on.

🔧 MOTOR CARE MONDAY 🔧

Good morning, Houston County! 💙

Fall is settling in, temperatures are starting to change, and there's one simple thing worth keeping an eye on:

🚗💨 Your tire pressure.

As outside temperatures drop, so can the pressure inside your tires. That little TPMS light showing up on a cool morning doesn't necessarily mean you've suddenly picked up a nail, but it does mean it's worth checking.

Proper tire pressure can help with:

⛽ Fuel economy
🛞 Even tire wear
🚗 Handling
🛑 Braking and overall safety

One important tip: don't automatically inflate your tires to the PSI printed on the tire itself.

Check the vehicle manufacturer's recommended pressure, usually found on the sticker inside the driver's door jamb. That's the number you're looking for. 🔍

And if something on your vehicle has you scratching your head, stop by NAPA Tennessee Ridge and talk to us. Sometimes you don't need a sales pitch. You just need somebody willing to help you figure out what you're dealing with.

💙 Serving Houston County since 1994.

Know somebody who never checks their tire pressure until a warning light starts yelling at them? 😂

🏷️ Tag them below or share this post with them!

🔧 Local people. NAPA Know How.

09/17/2026

🔧💡 NAPA KNOW HOW — Houston County, don’t let the first cold morning tell you your battery is bad.

Your battery can seem perfectly fine through the summer and start showing its age once temperatures begin dropping. 🍂🔋

A few warning signs are worth paying attention to:

⚠️ Your engine is cranking slower than normal
⚠️ Your lights dim when starting
⚠️ You've needed a jump recently
⚠️ Your battery is several years old
⚠️ You turn the key and get that dreaded click... click... click 😬

If you're not sure what shape yours is in, stop by NAPA Tennessee Ridge and let us help.

We're not interested in selling you something you don't need. We'd rather help you figure out what you've actually got going on and get you the right part the first time. 🔧

That's what having a local parts store is supposed to be about.

💙 Serving Houston County since 1994.

And Houston County, help us out with this one:

🔄 Share this post with your friends and neighbors. Somebody scrolling Facebook right now probably has a battery that's planning a very inconvenient surprise. 😂
