Good morning everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve posted on here but it’s been brought to our attention that Tenaha currently does not have power.Therefore, we will be closed for today until further notice. Good afternoon guys! It’s been a while since I’ve posted on here however it’s urgent that I share it with all of you.

We have noticed from the forecast that we are going to have a heavy winter storm coming throughout Texas, temperatures are going to drop drastically, estimating to around 20 degrees. It is very important to know that your vehicle can freeze during these conditions. However I’m going to share a few tips that are recommended to be done for everyone.

•Make sure that your vehicle is filled with antifreeze/coolant to the MAX level. Test your fluids to see if they are capable of handling freezing temperatures. Because if not, your radiator can/will freeze up on you. And nobody wants to spend the time and money on replacing a radiator.

•Please do not take the chance of ignoring the conditions of your antifreeze/coolant. It does not take long at all to check the fluid. Bring your vehicle over to our shop and we can test your fluid to make sure that it’s at the minimum handling condition for freezing temperatures, and we are willing to pour and top off your fluid in case your levels are running low.

•Check your tire pressure. Make sure that your tire pressure is up to spec. Never over inflate and never under inflate your tires. Especially during cold temperatures, your tire pressure can drop significantly, even by 5 PSI.please do not take the chance of driving off without checking your tires pressure.

•check your tire tread. Make sure that your tires have the minimum amount of tread needed for icy roads. We cannot stress this enough for how many times car accidents happen whenever a vehicle doesn’t have enough tire tread to grip the road. One way to check your tire is using a quarter. Place the coin in between the tire tread upside down, with the head facing downwards. If you can see the top of the head, then your tire has reached a very low tread level and is recommended to be replaced.

•Change your oil. Cold weather will thicken oil and reduce its ability to circulate through the engine, so ensure you have fresh oil to keep your car running smoothly.Stop by to our shop and we can get you taken care of.

Good morning guys! We have finished painting our new sign a few days ago and I had forgotten to post about it, lol.Anyways, this year, we were invited to be part of Tenaha’s Christmas Parade, as we will be passing out candy for all the kiddos! We would like to thank everyone that has been sharing all of our post and have been helping spread the word of our business, we couldn’t be more grateful. But again, we do hope everyone will come out and support us at Tenaha’s Christmas Parade.The Christmas Parade is today(12/21), I do not have the time the parade will start,but as soon as i get some more information about that, i will let yall know.Thank you.

Good morning guys! I wanted to share with you all our upcoming hours for the holidays for the next two weeks:

Tuesday 12/24-Open till 2:00 PM
Wednesday 12/25-Closed
Tuesday 12/31-Open till 2:00 PM
Wednesday 01/01-Closed
These are the only days that will be affected due to the upcoming holidays, all other days will be open as usual from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
