HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

There are very few of you who know that I lost my job at Garlyn Shelton two months ago after some upper management transitions. I’ve been lucky enough to receive tons of job offers in that time but nothing that really worked out well.

However, I have officially accepted a sales position at Tranum Auto Group in Temple with MUCH better hours!

There’s a couple of reasons I accepted this position versus the others I was offered and the main one is that this doesn’t require a lot of commuting and from Day 1 they made it know that I would be highly valued!

FOR my loyal VW customers that have always followed me: PLEASE still reach out to me with ALL of your needs. I can even arrange a New VW purchase for you. I am still here for you and can help with all your needs.

I’ve heard a major increase of people this past week saying they are waiting until March to purchase the vehicle they come in to look at. It’s mind boggling to me because the best time to purchase a vehicle is the end of the month! This screenshot from Edmunds.com supports one of the reasons it is best to buy at the end of the month.

Here’s another reason, as dealership personnel, we do not know how the discounts on a new vehicle change for the next month. We don’t know if the pre-owned vehicle you are looking at is going to be available this afternoon, much less next month.

When it comes to the discounts on a new vehicle, you really need to do your research and if the vehicle you are looking at is in high demand but low quantity, you should jump on the big discount you are getting at the end of the month because chances are, once the manufacturer looks at the market and how many vehicles they have left they will more than likely cut the discounts on the vehicles. That is something that is out of our hands at the dealership. The manufacturer is the one who decides that!

I’m always here any time someone has questions or needs help but do yourself a favor... If the discounts are large and you’re getting a good deal, don’t risk it! Don’t wait until “next month” to purchase. Take the great incentives from a salesman you trust and know you got a heck of a deal!
