Do you have a teen that might be anxious about driving and needs more encouragement before getting behind the wheel? We now offer SANDI simulator!
Here are some statistics for you!
More than 70,000 autistic teens transition into adulthood each year.
Only about 33% of autistic individuals
obtain a driver’s license, and it often takes them longer—on average two years—and many don’t achieve this
milestone until into their 20s. Lack of driving negatively effects their employment, college attendance,
socializing and independence. Our research found combining an AI-based driving simulator with cognitive
behavioral strategies curriculum changed the lives of autistic individuals!
40% participants have permit or license
60% practicing driving
80% pursuing license
95% want to drive
by 3 months

Phoenix’s photo enforcement cameras caught thousands of speeding violations over the past two months, according to city officials.

As of May 31, more than 30,000 citations and legal notices were mailed out to speedy drivers, said Lauren Evans, a spokesperson for Phoenix’s Street Transportation Department.

That's around one every three minutes on average.

That was down from the 51,524 warning letters that lead-footed motorists received during the 30-day grace period of the photo safety program, which launched in late February.

While the latest citation data showed a major drop compared to the early days of the initiative, Evans said that it’s too early to tell whether it’s having any meaningful impact on road safety.
