Diagnositic Question of the day,

Vehicle wonders side to side while driving strait,
Vibration can be felt in steering wheel,
Slight steering inputs have dramatic results.

What fault(s) is most likely the cause and why?

Client was very adiment that he needed a new alternator, because a previous Mechanic told him so,
I ordered one and brought it with me however,
I always perform my own diagnostic prior to replacing any parts.
As a professional I never take hearsay as the gospel.

After conducting several diagnostic tests,
I was able to confirm that both the battery and the alternator are functioning properly.
During the diagnostic process I was able to detect and verify an internal Electronic Steering module fault.
After confirming the Fault I checked for recalls and found a few. I advised the client to take this vehicle in to Honda for possible recall coverage.

I cant win them all but, I can be honest with my clients.
