Best Plumber 604 Series Invades Tazewell Speedway this Sunday Night for $3,000 to Win

One of the Southeast’s fastest-growing Crate Late Model tours will make its highly anticipated first-ever appearance at Tazewell Speedway this Sunday night as the Best Plumber 604 Racing Series presented by Longhorn Chassis battles for a $3,000 payday. The series, which debuted in 2024, will present a full race program for Crate Late Models with time trials, heat races and culminate with a 30 lap feature paying $3,000 to win.

Local favorite Odie Overholt enters Sunday’s showdown red-hot after winning five consecutive races at Tazewell Speedway. The current track points leader will face one of his toughest challenges yet as the touring stars of the Best Plumber 604 Series invade “The Bad Fast Taz.” The series visited Wartburg Speedway last Saturday night with Crossville's Brandon Williams winning over Addison Cardwell and Skylar Marlar. Cardwell, a third generation driver from Knoxville, comes into the night leading the series points chase and also the Rookie of the Year points standings.

Also on the racing card will be Sportsman Late Models, Street Stock, Classic Car and Crown Vic. The pit gates will swing open at 4:00 with grandstands opening at 5:00. Drivers meeting is slated to commence at 7:00 with hot laps to follow.

General admission will be $20 for adults with kids nine and under admitted free. Pit admission will be $35 for adults and $25 for those twelve and under.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early for what promises to be one of the biggest Crate Late Model events of the season at Tazewell Speedway. Visit www.TazewellSpeedway.net and www.BestPlumberCupSeries.com for more information.
