Attention Racers, Fans, and Crew Members,
Most of you are aware that on Saturday night we had to make the difficult decision to disqualify a driver. Unfortunately, the situation escalated between the driver and track staff, resulting in the driver and crew being escorted from the property.
While leaving the facility, the driver accidentally struck and damaged a cart. Today, we spoke directly with the driver and had a very productive conversation. The driver has taken full responsibility for his actions, both on and off the track, and has paid his fine in full. He has also asked that we extend his sincere apology to our staff, racers, fans, and fellow competitors.
In addition, the driver has been issued a two-week suspension and has committed to replacing the damaged cart before returning to competition. This was a decision he made voluntarily, and we appreciate him taking accountability for his actions.
We are grateful for our racers, fans, staff, and everyone who helps make our events possible. However, we want to be clear: intentional contact under caution, reckless behavior, disrespect toward staff, officials, competitors, or fans will not be tolerated. Our goal is to provide a safe, competitive, and family-friendly environment for everyone involved.
We encourage all competitors to remember that emotions can run high in racing, but maintaining respect and sportsmanship is always expected. None of us want to deal with situations like this, and we appreciate that all parties involved have worked together to resolve the matter.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing everyone Friday night!
