Moose's Tech Tips;

Difference between Disc brakes and Drum brakes.

Disc brakes use calipers to squeeze pads against an exposed metal rotor, offering superior cooling and stopping consistency. Drum brakes use wheel cylinders to push curved shoes outward against an enclosed rotating metal drum.
Disc brakes offer better heat management, higher stopping power, and are easier to repair.
Drum brakes last longer and are made cheaper. Often found on rear wheel drive vehicles.

Moose's Tech Tip.

CV axles are an important part of your front wheel drive vehicle. Over time the rubber boot on the joint becomes weak and/or breaks , thus causing a loss of grease from the joint it self. When this happens it allows dirt and debris to enter thus scarring the large ball and socket joint that flex while rotating. This will cause a clicking sound when driving, more so when turning.
