It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our brother over the weekend. We will be closing at 2pm on Thursday for the viewing being held at Slater-Rega funeral home from 4-8pm with a service at 7pm.
Michael Marsh, Jr. of Ruffs Dale died on Saturday, May 9, 2026. He was born October 16, 1970, to Linda (Miller) Marsh and Michael Marsh, Sr.
Michael was an accomplished entrepreneur as the owner of Marsh Automotive in Ruffs Dale and Marsh Auto Salvage in Dawson. He loved fast cars, fine restaurants, and boating on Lake Arthur. He was recently making moves to return to his family's roots on farming.
He is survived by his mother and three sisters: Heather Marsh (Sartor), Billie Marsh, and Thomasina (Peksa) Shaffer as well as many nieces and nephews. He was also close to his aunts: Physsis (Miller) Hough and Barbara (Miller) DiPol of Florida as well as Amy Miller of Ruffs Dale.
He is preceded in death by his gradparents Evelyn and Cecil Miller of Ruffs Dale and William and Beulah Marsh of West Newton as well as his Uncle Floyd Miller of Ruffs Dale.
Viewing and services will be held from 4-8 pm on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the Slater Rega Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant. The service will begin at 7 pm.
