When you own a vehicle that's over 7 years old, regular maintenance is very important. I have seen plastic parts disintegrate from heat, chemicals, and whether. the same goes for wiring. Sometimes you do a repair and have to disconnect other areas of the engine and/or wire harness and plastic just crumbles. it is a good rule of thumb to change hoses, fluids, and wipe your plastic parts with protection and any missing, cracked, or broken wiring insulation should be replaced. this will ensure that future repairs will not cause unnecessary breakage of other parts and save money in the long run.
I recently worked on a 10 year old car with 200,000 miles and lack of maintenance caused the plastic starter solenoid to snap off, wire connectors falling apart, and the plastic radiator inlet cracked and fell apart when removing the hose.
then people don't understand why they needed this and that part when they brought the car in for 1 part replacement.
Maintenance and care is the key to keep your car dependable.
That's how I keep my classics and antiques cars running strong and replace only the part needed.

After my terrible nightmare experience transmissions and my car out of commission for 8 days and counting, I finally had to help it towed to another shop because aamco could not figure out what the PROBLEM could be after several attempts to replace a clutch which is a 3 hour job. Caused me a lot of grief and now for the newly rated shop to take on the task of figuring out what they did wrong or didn't do at all and trying to scam me for parts Mark up
Wednesday will keep you posted on new development

OK people I needed to have my clutch replaced on the camaro because of a throughout bering noise. Instead of replacing just the throughout bearing, just do the whole clutch kit right.. since i ddon't have a lift, i took it to aamco tranamissions simply because thythey are the experts..the localocal shop totally SUCKED! They not only messed up..but, they could'nt figure out how or wht the problem mightbe
After 8 days with them guessing and trying different parts of it had to have the car towed to another shop
