Engine Armor Performance Coatings Performance Ceramic Coatings and Custom Powder Coating We provide metal polishing services for most small parts up to wheels.

Engine Armor Performance Coatings specializes in ceramic based, high-performance coatings that increase the durability and appearance of the applied part and are recommended for use on parts that are exposed to extremely high temperatures such as headers. We also provide custom powder coating services for those customers who are looking for a long wearing, attractive finish that will not be subjected to high heat or friction.

Set of Horseshoes and posts for some old fassion recreational fun. The posts are done in a 2 tone with the top half a chrome yellow and the bottom half with an industrial ruberized powder to withstand years of abuse. One set is done in a metalic blue that turns alittle green and a little purple depending on light and angle. The other set is done in a deep red metallic powder.

Most parts are shot in Suzuki Titanium powdercoat except the intercooler, it has an additional ceramic dispersant coating on the open fin area to help transfer the heat generated by the turbo faster to help the preformance. The coating is also very thin unlike the powdercoating so you dont block off any of the air flow threw the intercooler.

Customers ask quite often about using header wrap vs. ceramic coating. Here is a very definitive answer for you on why you would chose ceramic over wrap. This suburu exhaust manifold is, or was, a decent 304 stainless steel. As you can see in the pictures these were wrapped and unfortunately the wrap likes to trap moisture between the pipe and wrap which can result in corrosion in the stainless steel. This manifold was so bad it had holes and even cracks that now have to be repaired.
