Corrosion on battery terminals can mess with the connection your car needs to start and charge properly. That can lead to slow starts, flickering lights, electrical issues, or a no-start when you least want one.

Your tires do more than just roll you down the road. Good tread helps with traction, stopping, and keeping control when the roads are wet.

A quick way to check yours: stick a penny into the tread with Lincoln’s head facing down. If you can see the top of his head, the tread is getting too low.

Also watch for uneven wear. If one side looks more worn than the other, your car might be trying to tell you something about alignment, tire pressure, or suspension.

Over time, rust, corrosion, and wear can keep it from doing its job, which is circulating coolant through your engine. When that happens, it can lead to overheating, coolant leaks, and bigger repair bills if it is ignored too long.

A few signs to watch for:

💧 Coolant leaking under the vehicle
🌡️ Engine running hotter than normal
🎧 Whining, chirping, squealing, or grinding from the front of the engine
💨 Steam from under the hood or overheating warnings

A lot of parts do not fail all at once. They wear down over time, and catching them early can save you a headache later.

If your A/C is starting to struggle, watch for these common signs:
✅ Air is cool at first… then turns warm
✅ Takes forever to cool down (especially at idle)
✅ Clicking, squealing, or other weird noises with A/C on
✅ A/C works sometimes, then randomly quits
✅ Airflow is fine, but it’s just not cold

Your tires are basically your car’s “receipts.” They’ll rat out alignment problems, worn suspension parts, and low tire pressure real quick. 😅

If you think your tires might be getting a little too worn, here are a few things to look for:

✅ Low tread
If the tread looks shallow, it may be time for new tires.

✅ Uneven wear
If one side is wearing more than the other, that can point to alignment or suspension issues.

✅ Cracks, bulges, or rough spots
Those are signs your tires may not be as safe as they should be.

✅ The penny test
Stick a penny into the tread with Lincoln’s head facing down. If you can see all of his head, your tread is getting too low.

Worn tires are not just a “time for tires” problem. They can mess with:

✅ Traction, especially in rain
✅ Braking distance
✅ How straight your vehicle tracks down the road
