🎃 Halloween is a few weeks out, but it's not too early to start driving like it. Trick-or-treaters are unpredictable, often in dark costumes, and darting between parked cars. A few reminders to keep in the back of your mind through the rest of the month:
- Slow way down in residential neighborhoods, especially after dusk
- Double-check crosswalks and between parked cars before turning
- Avoid distractions — phones down, headlights on

🚗 Not every ding qualifies for paintless dent repair — and that's okay. If the paint's chipped, the metal's slightly creased, or there's a scuff that goes past the clear coat, that's where our small dent repair process comes in.

We're talking about things like:
- Door dings with scratched or chipped paint
- Small creases that disrupt a panel line
- Scuffs or gouges that don't go all the way through the metal

If it can go paintless, we'll say so. If it needs a little filler and a color-matched blend, we'll do that instead — matched down to the flake so it disappears into the rest of the panel.

Here in the PNW, exposed metal and cracked paint don't get to sit for long before rust starts creeping in, so don't wait too long on the ones that need it. 🍂 We'll always give you an honest read on what's worth fixing now and what can wait.

OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts are made by your vehicle's manufacturer and built to exact factory specs. Aftermarket parts are made by third parties and can vary in fit and quality. Your insurance policy may specify which type is covered — but you always have a say in the conversation.

- Standing water can cause hydroplaning even at moderate speeds
- Worn tires lose grip fast in the wet — check your tread now
- Increase following distance, especially on I-5 and Hwy 16

• Wet leaves can be as slick as ice, especially on curves and bridges
• Sunset comes earlier, so evening commutes now mean driving into glare or darkness
• Deer activity picks up this time of year, especially around wooded areas near Tacoma and JBLM
