About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Diesel Truck Technician to join our growing team! If you have a passion for diesel engines, troubleshooting, and ensuring the smooth operation of heavy-duty trucks, we want you on our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on our fleet of diesel trucks. A strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and teamwork is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and trucks to keep them in peak working condition.
Diagnose and troubleshoot a variety of mechanical, engine, transmission, brake, and electrical issues.
Conduct detailed inspections to ensure that vehicles comply with DOT and safety regulations.
Accurately document services, repairs, and parts used to maintain service records.
Collaborate with fellow technicians and supervisors to ensure repairs and maintenance are completed in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (technical training preferred).
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a Diesel Truck Technician (CDL a plus).
In-depth knowledge of diesel engine systems, diagnostic tools, and repair techniques.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to lift heavy parts and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
