2019 Ram Laramie 1500 5.7 litre, this started with an accident damaging the driver side mirror, the ambient temp sensor and also letting a liquid leak on the door. The body shop did a great job on the repair but could not clear and reset the codes. This year vehicle could not be cleared through the OBD2 port and had to be done through the security module. With this being a 2019 the module should have been behind the instrument cluster, it was not, my computer after reading the VIN showed it on the passenger side, it was not. I also looked behind the radio as this could have been an early 2019 being manufactured 05/2018, it was not. I also checked the kick panel on both sides. Nothing, I took my Vident scan tool and entered the VIN in manually and this time it showed the correct location, under driver side dash, left of steering column, it can be seen well by removing the headlight switch panel by your left knee when sitting in the driver seat. If doing most things with the computer on newer Dodge/Ram vehicles a 12/8 cable will be needed, this one is direct from Autel and cost about 30 bucks.
